Talik is proud to have had a close relationship with the UK Green Building Council since 2018. We act as a strategic thinking partner and learning facilitator on a number of UKGBC’s leadership programmes and bespoke workshops, developing leader capability with future and seasoned professionals. With a combination of teaching, high energy experiential activities, psychometrics and more, our facilitators develop leaders’ insights into their own and others’ values, beliefs, behaviour as well as building invaluable skills in strategic analysis, communication, collaboration and innovative problem-solving.
The module participants love most is Story-telling and Pitching with Larry Stubbings. From a career in acting, directing and teaching in theatre and schools, Larry bring a wealth of experience to developing leaders’ ability to tell their own stories with passion and authenticity. Working closely with participants, he helps them craft memorable, impactful presentations, coaching them to find their unique, resonant voice and presence. Even the most reticent and shy public speaker comes away from Larry’s workshops having found within themselves a unique experience and source of truth that enables them to speak powerfully from a grounded centre.
Over six years and seven cohorts, participants have consistently noted the development in their individual style as speakers, having demonstrated dramatic increases in confidence both in the planning and realization of their presentations. Many have continued developmental coaching with Larry after the programme.
The capacity to tell stories of hope and positive change, that galvanise action for nature and climate, are needed more urgently than ever.
